Hi , As you can see I have launched the new loading screen site. This has a lot better expandability allowing me to add feature enhancements without having to do a complete redesign. Which is good as I have exciting new features in the pipeline. I have also worked on speeding the site up so that you should be able to get on here a lot faster. the last step was to sort out the bugs. This site should now work fine no matter which modern browser u use. I have gone a lot of plans for exciting new features and contents in the coming months so stay tuned. Follow us on twitter @loadingscreenuk or on Facebook, and now you can sign up for email updates or as normal follow our RSS or ATOM feeds.

I really wanted to review Red Alert on the iPhone. I am a massive fan of the Red Alert series all the way from the days when it was made by the awesome Westwood Studios so a new one that I could take about with me was like heaven. I downloaded on the day it came out. You probably worked out by now that it doesn’t work , and it doesn’t. I have tried to play it several times and it crashes out , sometimes it wont start other times are I have launched a game and then its crashed out but I have never played more than a minute of it. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I got straight on the old twitter and tweeted EA mobile @EAmobile but they haven’t answered me so far. I checked iTunes and it saids all it requires is OS 3.0 which I have on my iPhone 3G. (Plus a lot of the reviews on there complain of the same crashing issues that I got ) Take a look at the Red Alert iTunes page here (You will need iTunes installed to follow the link). Hopefully EA will release an update to fix the game, they did a stunning job on Rockband so why they couldn’t get Red Alert to work. In the meantime if I was you and you don’t want to waste your hard earned £5.99 then I would give this a miss until an update is released. I am so disappointed that I couldn’t tell you that this is another amazing hit in the Red Alert series but as it doesn’t work I just can’t and I have given it a lot of goes.

I will update this if they fix the issues of finally tweet me back..
